Counselling and therapy in a safe, comfortable and private setting

Life can feel overwhelming. Perhaps you're navigating anxiety, relationship difficulties, or grief. Maybe you're facing challenges at work, struggling with your sense of self, or going through a significant transition. You might be searching for support that doesn't just acknowledge your faith and culture, but actively honours them.

Finding a therapeutic space where you feel truly understood matters. Where your beliefs aren't something to work around, but something that can guide and strengthen your healing. That's what I offer.

About Me

I'm Usmaan, a BACP registered counsellor and Imam, offering Person-centred and Islamic counselling in Dudley and I also provide support online and via telephone. I work in English, Urdu, and Punjabi, ensuring you can explore your experiences in the language you're most comfortable with. For over twenty years, I've been walking alongside people during their most difficult moments. As an Imam and NHS chaplain, I've supported individuals through bereavement, health challenges, and work-related stress. This experience taught me that healing happens best in relationships built on trust, empathy, and genuine understanding. More about me

Integrative & Solution-Focused Approach

My approach is integrative and solution-focused, which means we'll work together to develop healthier ways of coping that make sense for you. Rather than following a fixed formula, I adapt my approach to suit your individual needs and circumstances.

Tailored Support

Whether you're looking for short-term support or a longer therapeutic journey, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you. This isn't about fitting you into a model, it's about creating a space that works for you.

Accessible Counselling

I'm passionate about making counselling accessible. At £40 per session, I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to access support when they need it, not just when it's financially easy to do so.

What can counselling offer you?

Counselling creates a dedicated space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences without judgement. My role isn't to tell you what to do or fix your problems for you. Instead, I listen deeply, help you make sense of what's happening, and support you in finding your own path forward. We work collaboratively, at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you. Many people find that simply being heard and understood can shift something fundamental. From there, we can develop practical strategies that honour your values and help you build the life you're working towards.

What Brings People to Counselling

I work with individuals facing issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, and addiction. You might be dealing with relationship difficulties, health concerns, or navigating grief and loss. Perhaps you're experiencing low self-esteem, going through a major life transition, or facing challenges around your faith or cultural identity. My background means I'm particularly equipped to support people exploring religious and cultural issues within their counselling, including religious OCD, where intrusive thoughts about faith can feel overwhelming and distressing. Whatever brings you here, we'll start where you are and work together towards where you want to be.

Ready to Talk?

Reaching out can feel daunting. That's why I offer a free initial consultation. It's a chance for us to talk for 15-20 minutes about what's bringing you to counselling and how I might be able to support you. No pressure, no commitment. Just a conversation to see if we're a good fit.
